国防科技情报工作会议于1983年7月2日至11日在北京召开。参加会议的有总参、总政、总后有关部局、各军兵种、国防科工委、各国防工业部、国家有关部局以及各省、市、自治区国防科工办的代表共228名。国防科工委聂力副主任作了开幕词,并作了“组织起来,大力协同开创国防科技情报工作的新局面”的报告,国防科技委钱学森副主任到会也作了报告。这次会议规模之大、单位之多都是空前的,这是一次开创国防科技情报工作新局面的动员大会。中央军委聂荣臻副主席为会议题了词:“科技情报是科技工作的耳目、尖兵”,军委张爱萍副秘书长在参观情报成果效果展览时也指出:科技情报工作要参与决策,当好参谋。这说
National Defense Scientific and Technical Information Work Conference was held in Beijing from July 2 to July 11, 1983. There were 228 representatives of the General Staff, General Political Department, the General Administration Department, the General Administration Department, the General Affairs Bureau, the National Defense Branch, the National Defense Industry and Industry Commission, the National Defense Industry Departments, the relevant State Departments and the National Defense Science and Industry of all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
