小兴安岭的红松采伐后,在采伐迹地上最先更新起来的是白桦,山杨以及其它阔叶树,其中以白桦为最多。如果在采伐迹地上同时采用人工更新红松,这就很容易形成人工的红松和天然更新的白桦构成针阔复层混交林,而在迹地上天然更新起来的白桦生长迅速,密度大,分布不均,若不及时的调节上层白桦林的密度,适时进行透光抚育,下层的红松就要处于被压状态。为此,我们通过对红松在不同郁闭度条件下的生长情况和白桦的胸径与冠幅之间关系的研究,提出了红松和白桦混交林定量透光抚育方法。

Therefore, through the study on the relationship between the growth of Pinus koraiensis under different canopy density and the relationship between the DBH and crown width, we proposed a quantitative and photoperiod-raising method for the mixed forest of Pinus koraiensis and Betula platyphylla.
