In this series 3 methods were used to treathyperthyroidism:acupuncture,antithyroid drug(tapazole)and combined therapeutic acupunctureplus antithyroid drug)methods and comparative stu-dies on their therapeutic efficacy were made.Thecombined therapeutic method was found to have theadvantages of high effectiveness, shorter therapeuticcourses, less adverse side effects and low recurrencerates.
