Funds, talents, technology and management are the four “heart diseases” of SMEs. If the financial problem can be solved through the government’s policy of supporting SMEs, then technology and management must rely on talent to achieve it. Without excellent talents, it is difficult to talk about new technologies and management. In the 21st century, in which talent competition is a distinctive feature, human capital will become the most important capital. This is particularly true in high-tech SMEs. The brain drain has caused companies to invest in employee training and bring troubles and losses to the operation of the company. At the same time, it may also cause the company’s trade secrets to be owned by competitors and bring devastating blows to the company. Where is the crux of brain drain in SMEs? This issue deserves our in-depth study.
