美国华裔作家汤婷婷的代表作《女勇士》被誉为最具有代表性的亚裔文学作品,三十余年来受到批评界广泛的关注。本文采用后殖民理论的视角,即爱德华.赛义德(Edward Said)的“东方主义”(orientalism)、斯皮瓦克(Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak)的“属下”(subaltern)和霍米.巴巴(Homi Bhabha)的“杂糅性”(hybridity)和“模拟”(mimicry)理论分析在《女勇士》中女主角们同残酷的生存现实搏斗的场面,为其重新进行文化定位,并为处于双重文化边缘的作品给予后殖民阐释。
Chinese American writer Tang Tingting’s masterpiece “Woman Warrior,” hailed as the most representative Asian literary works, for more than 30 years by critics widespread attention. This article takes the perspective of postcolonial theory as Edward Said’s orientalism, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak’s subaltern and Huo Homi Bhabha’s “hybridity” and “mimicry” theories analyze the heroine’s wrestling with brutal living reality in The Woman Warrior, Cultural orientation and post-colonial interpretation of works on the verge of dual culture.
