巍巍蒙山,滔滔汶水。地处沂蒙山腹地的革命老区蒙阴县,生息着50多万勤劳的人民。改革开放后,蒙阴县逐步摆脱了贫困迈向小康,但一些自然条件恶劣的乡村仍徘徊在贫困线上。 桃墟镇东周家庄村就是一例:交通闭塞,水源奇缺,土地贫瘠,环境恶劣,勤劳的村民奋斗了几代也没有走出贫困的阴影。2002年2月,在“三个代表”下乡活动中,兼任县委常委的县人武部政委王志亮,在东周家庄村一连碰上了几个因贫困上不起学的孩子后,再也坐不住了,一种军人特有的责任感和使命感在他心中萌发。他当即决定率领人武部帮扶工作组进驻东周家庄村。 Towering Meng Mountain, surging Wen Shui.
