Proper selection and maintenance of stainless steel can take several centuries to retain its appeal. After such a long service life, stainless steel has a high scrap value and low corrosion rate to ensure that it can be recycled after the end of its useful life, and the recycling rate is very high. This article illustrates the use of stainless steel for sustainable roofing and curtain wall engineering.
