１９８９年１０月至ｌｌ月上旬在天津市１３个四病预防与控制研究基地，对１５～６４岁人群进行了抽样调查。对天津市人群吸烟状况、超常体重、肥胖和血压水平等与心血管系统疾病有关的危险因素进行研究分析。结果发现天津市人群的超常体重率和肥胖率分别波动在１５．６～２７．６％和３．７～１２．０％；吸烟率波动在１２．２～６８．２％之间（以上均按世界标准人口标化）。按不同文化程度进行人群吸烟状况分析发现，人群吸烟率随着文化程度的增高而下降。通过对人群血压水平分析发现，平均收缩压、平均舒张压均表现为城市人群高于农村，男性高于女性。
From October 1989 to early November, 13 sampling centers were set up in 13 four-disease prevention and control research bases in Tianjin. To study the risk factors related to cardiovascular diseases such as smoking status, excess weight, obesity and blood pressure in Tianjin population. The results showed that overweight and obesity rates in Tianjin population fluctuated between 15.6-27.6% and 3.7-12.0%, respectively; smoking rates fluctuated between 12.2-68.2% (all above According to the world standard population standardization). According to the analysis of smoking prevalence among different education levels, smoking prevalence in the population declined with the increase of education level. Through the analysis of the crowd blood pressure level, the average systolic blood pressure and average diastolic blood pressure are higher in the urban population than in the rural areas and higher in the male than in the female.
