吕忱《字林》是一部在歷史上有重要影響的字書。從相關文獻記載來看,其書當亡佚於宋元之間。但元明時仍有不少著作徵引《字林》,其中有些引文不見於他書,一些學者據此認爲《字林》亡於元明之間乃至明清之際。通過對引文進行溯源,可以發現元明人所引《字林》實爲轉引,而非親見;其部分引文不見於他書,是轉引中産生)誤造成的,不能作爲元明時《字林》尚存的證據。明確《字林》的亡佚時間,對於保證《字林》1佚的可靠性具有重要意義。
Lvchen “word forest” is a book that has an important influence in history. From the relevant literature records, the book was lost in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. However, there were still many works in the Yuan and Ming dynasties that cited “word forest”. Some of the quotations were not found in his book. Some scholars believe that “word forest” died between the Yuan and Ming Dynasties and even the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Through the traceability of the quotations, we can find that the word “forest” quoted by Yuanming Ming was actually quoted rather than seen personally; some of its quotations were not found in his book, “Word forest” surviving evidence. A clear “word forest” lost time, for the “word forest” a lost reliability is of great significance.
