1995年,从澳大利亚引进史密斯桉主要分布区的7个种源,以云南省大部分地区生长表现较好的蓝桉、直干桉作对照,在云南省的东部、东南部、南部、中部和西部共设5个试验点进行多点引种和种源适应性的试验。经对5个试验点苗期及25年生试验林适应性和生长表现的观测、分析,史密斯桉在试验点所示的区域内比较适生,尤其在滇东的陆良、滇中的禄丰、滇西的保山表现较好;引种的7个种源,以15064、18284和18688号初期生长较好。初步确定了该树种引种的适生范围,并对各种源在各试验点上的苗期和幼树期的生长规律和差异有所了解。据测定,史密斯桉的桉叶出油率为142%,比蓝桉高1倍,比直干桉高112倍;桉油中的桉叶素含量比两个对照高出18%。
In 1995, seven provenances introduced from Australia were mainly distributed in the eastern, southeastern, southern, central and eastern parts of Yunnan Province, with the best performance of Eucalyptus and Eucalyptus in most parts of Yunnan Province. A total of five experimental sites in the west were used for multi-point introduction and provenance suitability test. Through the observation and analysis of the adaptability and growth performance of five experimental sites at the seedling stage and 2.5-year-old experimental forests, it is more suitable for the area of Eucalyptus mongolicus to show in the experimental sites, especially in Luliang, Paulownia and Baoshan in western Yunnan performed better. The seven provenances introduced in early stages of 15064, 18284 and 18688 grew well. The suitable range of introduction of this species was preliminarily identified, and the growth rules and differences of seedlings and saplings at various test sites were studied. According to the determination, the eucalyptus eucalyptus leaves oil yield was 1 42%, 1 times higher than the blue eucalyptus, 1 12 times higher than the direct eucalyptus; eucalyptus oil cineole content than the two control 18% .
