梅兰芳先生因得到国画大师吴昌硕先生赠《梅花》画作一帧,便萌发了画梅的兴趣,并一发不可收,先后拜王梦白、齐白石、汪蔼士先生为师研习画梅。所作梅花,融高古、孤傲和冷艳为一体,得美妙、逸气之高格。
Because Mr. Mei Lanfang got a picture of “Plum Blossom” made by Mr. Wu Changshuo, a master of Chinese painting, he germinated the interest of drawing plum and started to collect it. He met Wang Mengbai, Qi Baishi and Wang Ai-shih and studied for plum. The plum blossom, melting high ancient, arrogant and glamorous as a whole, was wonderful, elegant high grid.
