水坝与地震

1 概述 正如人们所料,绝大多数由于地震而毁坏或严重受损的水坝都位于强震区,如美国西部、智利、中国以及日本。然而1839年遭受地震的苏格兰Earlsburn坝和1967年受到地震破坏的印度Koyna大坝也提醒人们地震破坏也发生于地震活动较弱的地区。 Koyna地震已公认为是水库诱发地震(RIS),虽然震后大坝依然存在,但Koynanagar村却有180人因地震而死亡,2200人受伤。本文表1列出了水库诱发地震破坏大坝的有关资料。 1 General As one might expect, the vast majority of dams that have been damaged or severely damaged by earthquakes are located in strong earthquakes such as the western United States, Chile, China and Japan. However, the Earlsburn dam in Scotland hit by the 1839 earthquake and the Koyna dam in India destroyed by the earthquake in 1967 also reminded people that the earthquake damage occurred in the areas where the earthquake was weak. The Koyna earthquake has been recognized as a reservoir-induced earthquake (RIS). Although the dam remained after the earthquake, 180 people in the village of Koynanagar died of the earthquake and 2,200 were injured. Table 1 in this paper lists the relevant information on the dam-induced dam damage caused by the reservoir.
