小学阶段的英语教学对学生后续的学习起到至关重要的引导和启发作用,教师应该采用有效的课堂教学策略,搞好小学英语教育。一、创设情境开展语言教学小学阶段是儿童可塑性最强的时期。这一时期的小学生不仅活泼好动,爱说爱笑,而且善于口头模仿。小学生的年龄特点和心理特点决定了他们正处在学习和发展外语的最佳年龄阶段。教师要充分利用这些特点,抓住最佳时期,培养学生学习外语的兴趣。在教学中,充分利用学生模仿能力强的特点通过情景创设开展语言教学活动,帮助学生培养良好的语感、听说能力和纯正的语音语调,激发学生学习 English teaching in primary school plays a crucial guiding and inspiring role in students’ follow-up study.
