July 1986 7 August Guanghan Sanxingdui two sacrificial pit were unearthed bronze, gold, jade, stone and pottery all kinds of artifacts nearly a thousand pieces. Of which more than 400 bronze pieces. After years of efforts by remediation workers, most of them have now been restored and restored. They have been exhibited at home and abroad and received unanimous praise. There are still a few relics still under study. The research and restoration of bronze large-scale masks (specimen number K2③: 3 14) are another major achievement of the restoration of cultural relics excavated in the sacrificial pit of Sanxingdui mound in recent years. Bronze ware unearthed from two sacrificial pits was burnt by fire. Some bronze was deformed by fire, but also been knocked smashed by man, when the pit fill compaction layers, so the deformation of the bronze is inevitable, adding a lot of difficulties for the repair. For 20 years, I have been in charge of and involved in the restoration of Sanxingdui relics. Including the restoration of bronze masks, for their modeling characteristics have been studied, the casting process also has a deeper understanding of the restoration of this large bronze mask
