自《关于完善人民陪审员制度的决定》正式施行以来,全国各基层法院系统选任并产生了决定出台后的第一批人民陪审员。在五年的实践中,陪审员参加审理各类案件,在促进司法民主、司法公正以及司法公信力方面取得了诸多成就,但不足依然存在。今后应在立法以及陪审员的选任、培训、管理、制度保障等方面加大改革的力度。 Since the formal implementation of the “Decision on Perfecting the System of People’s Assessors,” all the grassroots courts across the country have systematically elected and produced the first people’s assessors after the decision was made. During the five years of practice, jurors participating in all kinds of trial cases have achieved many successes in promoting judicial democracy, judiciary fairness and judicial credibility. However, there are still not enough. In the future, efforts should be made to reform the legislation as well as the selection, training, management and system support of jurors.
