光电子谱(简写为PS)是研究表面电子性质的主要方法。另外还有一些实验方法,如离子中和谱(INS),场发射电子谱(FES)等虽然也能得到一些表面电子状态的信息,但它们至今只起到补充和旁证的作用。大量的信息是由光电子谱给出的。近十多年来光电子谱实验与表面电子结构理论相互促进,有了很大的发展。本文简要介绍光电子谱的基本知识和利用光电子谱来获得表面电子各方面信息的方法,并选一些实验结果作例子来评述这一领域的近年成就与进展。
Photoelectron spectroscopy (abbreviated as PS) is the main method for studying the surface electronic properties. In addition, some experimental methods, such as ion neutralization (INS) and field emission electron (FES), can obtain some information on the surface electronic states, but so far they only serve to supplement and circumstantial evidence. A large amount of information is given by photoelectron spectroscopy. Nearly a decade of photoelectron spectroscopy experiments and surface electron structure theory to promote each other, with great development. This article briefly introduces the basic knowledge of photoelectron spectroscopy and the use of photoelectron spectroscopy to obtain information on all aspects of the surface electron method, and select some experimental results as an example to comment on the recent achievements in this area and progress.
