Harry Clarke Bentley Born in 1877 and died in 1967, he is a famous accountant in the early and mid-20th century in the late 19th century. His most outstanding contribution is to play a “driver” role in the historical development of accounting education from the specialist level to the undergraduate level. In his early years, Bentley began his studies at the commercial school founded by the father of George Eastman, a Kodak fame. After graduation, he became a teacher and worked in several commercial schools. Later, he started a business school in Winstead, Connecticut.
