Do not know whether the world can find such a city like Harbin Museum of architecture like. Harbin is a hundred-year-old city, but the personality of a city is not directly proportional to the amount of bluster on her face. In 1896, Li Hung-chang gave the Russians the franchise of the Middle East Railway, and the Russians gave us a Harbin. When the Middle East Railway opened to traffic in 1903, Harbin, the hub and management center of the Middle East Railway, basically formed a downtown area that became a modern “city.” After the signing of the “Britain-Russia Agreement” in 1914, tens of thousands of expatriates in more than 30 countries came together to Harbin, and Harbin became an international city temporarily entrenched by the powers. The pain of history has gone, but the architectural memory left by history to Harbin remains clear.
