氡是在大气中广泛存在的天然辐射源,氡及其子体对人体的危害在近几十年逐渐被人们认识并广泛开展了研究,其大量研究结果表明,吸入过量的氡及其子体会使肺癌发病显著增高。通常地下建筑物内氡及子体浓度高于地面建筑。因此,从对作业人员的健康考虑,有必要对其典型的地下建筑物内氡及其子体来源、辐射水平进行深入的调查研究。
