现代国际法对人类社会起着促进的作用，主要表现在下列四个方面：１废止以战争作为国家政策的工具，从而导向消弭战争的前景。２用和平方法解决国际争端是人类和平的希望。３鼓励民族自决，消灭殖民制度，实现国际社会的平等与进步。４通过国际合作，谋求国际互利，建设国际经济新秩序
Modern international law plays a promoting role in human society. It mainly displays in the following four aspects: 1) Abolishing the war as a tool of state policy and thus guiding the future of eliminating war. 2) The peaceful settlement of international disputes by peaceful means is the hope of humankind’s peace. 3. Encourage ethnic self-determination, eliminate the colonial system and achieve the equality and progress of the international community. 4) Through international cooperation, we should seek international cooperation and build a new international economic order
