“神明”这个内涵极其丰富的词语在《庄子》一书中出现的次数并不多,除了《齐物论》中“劳神明为一而不知其同也,谓之朝三”和《天道》篇中“天尊地卑,神明之位也”这两处外,其余主要集中在《天下》篇中。《庄子·天下》篇中“神明”一词同时出现共有五处:“神何由出?明何由降?”“配神明”“称神明之容”“澹然与神明同居”“神明往与”。历来注解庄子的学者关于“神明”一词的说法各异,大略来看有“自然”“造化”“心思”“智慧”等几种观点。本文主要从《庄子·天下》篇出发简单探讨庄子一书中“神明”的哲学内涵。
