茭白又名茭笋,为多年生宿根草木植物,在我国已有千年的栽培历史,其肉质茎含蛋白质、脂肪、碳水化合物、粗纤维等,茭笋在未老熟前,有机氮以氨基酸状态存在,营养价值较高,深受广大城乡居民喜爱。栽植茭白亩产茭笋可达1000多公斤,经济效益显著。
