汪瑞(中国艺术研究院美术研究所副研究员):王老师,请您先简要谈一谈自己的教育和工作背景。就我了解,您最初所学专业是图书馆学,后来是怎样走上外国美术研究之路的?王端廷(中国艺术研究院美术研究所研究员):我是武汉大学图书馆学系毕业的,1983年大学毕业被分配到中国艺术研究院美术研究所资料室。改行的契机是1985年美研所创办《中国美术报》,当时办报主力是改革开放后第一批毕业的 Wang Rui (Associate Researcher, Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art): Teacher Wang, please briefly talk about your education background.
