On December 1, 1936, Zhang Guodao finally came to the security guards in northern Shaanxi and the Central Committee of the Party headed by Mao Zedong. There were also Zhu De, Liu Bocheng, and Red Army headquarters and staff of the Red Army University. The CPC Central Committee expressed its greatest enthusiasm for the arrival of Zhang Guotao. Mao Zedong and Zhang Wentian not only welcomed the 1,000 Red Army troops but also welcomed the General Assembly. Both Mao Zedong and Zhang Guotao spoke on stage, with a warm and exciting atmosphere.
