For a long time, historians believe that “Sun Bin” is a military book by his disciples who compiled his military thoughts and military experience when he was involved in polygamy. Through a great deal of research on a large number of documents and materials, this article argues that Sun Bin’s military law does not come from the hands of Sun Bin and his disciples. His book is not in the era of Sun Bin. It is a military writ in the early Han Dynasty written by a literary man who was interested in military techniques or a researcher of Sun Bin’s military thought on the name of Sun Tzu. This new conclusion is not to negate the military scientific value of Sun Bin’s military law. It aims to give scholars and scholars guidance on the further study of Sun Bin and his military thinking by historians and scholars.
