GIS数据量的日益膨胀和分布式GIS的发展,对GIS数据管理提出了更高的要求。针对传统关系型数据库未能较好解决空间数据存储以及客户端GIS应用程序的连接问题,本文在研究最具潜力的面向实体的数据模型的基础上,借助SQLServer关系型数据库管理系统的强大功能和空间数据引擎技术解决了海量空间数据一体化存储问题,满足了国产GIS自身发展需求。
The increasing influx of GIS data and the development of distributed GIS put forward higher requirements on GIS data management. Aiming at the problem that the traditional relational database can not solve the problem of the spatial data storage and the connection of the client GIS application, on the basis of research on the most potential entity-oriented data model and by virtue of the powerful functions of the SQLServer relational database management system and Spatial data engine technology to solve the mass storage of integrated spatial data to meet the development needs of domestic GIS itself.
