Chronic hypertension is considered as one of the causes of hearing loss, but the conclusions of the clinical trials of its correlation studies are still divided. To investigate the relationship between hypertension and cochlear blood vessels, Wistar-Kyoto rats (WKY) were used as experimental animals to compare the morphology of cochlear blood vessels. The experimental animals were divided into three groups of 5 female rats. (2) SHR: 6-month-old WKY mice were intravenously injected with horseradish peroxidase (HRP), and were sacrificed after 10 minutes. (1) Control group: normal WKY rats of 6 months old, with an average blood pressure of 125 mmHg; Standby, mean blood pressure 175mmHg; (3) Aged SHR: 20-month-old WKY mice with an average blood pressure of 185mmHg.
