在锅炉压力容器制造中,需对进口大口径管进行原材料复验(标准规定抽验10%),由于大口径管批量小,规格多,为确保管子质量必须在索赔期内验收完成,为此对此类大口径管子宜选用手动直接接触的斜探头横波法进行检验。大口径管的探伤一般以探测纵向缺陷为主,选择适宜的斜探头在同样的试管上修磨一定的弧度,以期求得相同的曲率,使探头和管子具有良好的声耦台。理论和实践表明超声波主声束与管子内壁相切能得到纯横波探伤,使进入管子的超声波能量最强,探伤灵敏度最高。下面以(?)273mm×32mm 进口(西德)大口径合金管为例,介绍探测方法及检测步骤(材质为1Cr18Ni9Ti)。
