问:面向全省公开招考35名地厅级副职领导干部,这一举措在全省乃至全国都产生很大反响,请问:为什么要采取公开招考的形式来选拔领导干部? 答:公开选拔领导干部,作为一种扩大群众参与程度、扩大识人用人范围、强化群众对于部选拔任用监督、促进干部勤奋工作、提高素质的新方法,经过多年的实践证明,是行之有效的。今年,省委决定在1997年通过“一推双考”公开选拔17名厅局领导干部,以及全省各地公开选拔一大批领导干部成功经验的基础上,再次公开选拔35名地厅级领导干部,就是要在干部的选拔任用上使正在形成的竞争机制得到进一步的规范和完善,把更多的优秀年轻干部选拔到各级
