中国书法根植于中国社会文化的土壤中,得以生根结果,由于中国社会发展的特点,使书法艺术与其它的传统艺术一样,不但没有因为时代发展受到冲击,而且得到了精雕细刻的发展。书法艺术是把“运动”储存起来的一种方式,当别人欣赏书法艺术时,这种运动就放释出来,传达给欣赏者,激起欣赏者的运动知觉,有迟缓的,凝重的,飞动的。书法艺术也可以看成是“轨迹”本身的图形,而不是“轨迹”“画”出来的图形。“图形”是空间的,“轨迹”是时间的,“轨迹”本身的“图形”则是“时间”中的空间,是“空间感”融于“时间感”之中,体现出“时间”和“空间”的辩证统一关系。这些复杂元素必须在教学中加以注意和推敲。
