The trade links between the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and industrialized countries - past, present and future, this issue has included a very wide range. The figures below show the volume of foreign trade of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and emphasize its size and development. At the beginning of the establishment of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries in 1960, while the total export value of 13 member states was 7.62 billion U.S. dollars, the amount of merchandise imports was 5.335 billion U.S. dollars with a small trade surplus of 2.307 billion U.S. dollars. However, in terms of labor trade, OPEC’s total current account was only a small surplus of US$345 million due to exports of US$292 million and imports of US$2.12 billion, with a deficit of US$1.828 billion (Table 1).
