戈登研究会议于1996年7月14日至19日在美国的Rhode Island召开,会议主题是高分子物理.主要内容涉及:Structure in block copolymer systems,Visualization of phase separationduring flow,New methods in polymer physics.Phase behavior in polyolefins,Thin polymer films,Interfacial phenomena,polymer glasses,等等。主要偏重于多组份聚合物。高分子物理的其他内容,如高分子的结晶、结构、形态、高分子液晶、高分子溶液等则很少涉及。会议有几个方面是比较新的。多组份高分子3个经典的相结构和形态是:球形分散相分布于连续相中,棒状分散相分布于连续相中,层状相问结构。德国Mainz大学的R.Stadler教授通过控制嵌段共聚物的组成、嵌段长度、嵌段顺序,发现一些新的相结构和形态。同时发现,分散相可形成十分规则的类似单晶那样的有序排列。这种结构能产生电子衍射和X射线衍射。如棒状分散相能形成六方排列、四方排列。棒本身可为圆柱形或四方形。对于含可结晶
The Gordon Research Conference was held at Rhode Island, USA from July 14 to July 19, 1996. The main topic of the conference was Polymer Physics. The main topics covered were: Structure in block copolymer systems, Visualization of phase separation fluid flow, New methods in polymer physics. Phase behavior in polyolefins, Thin polymer films, Interfacial phenomena, polymer glasses, and the like. Mainly focused on multi-component polymers. Other aspects of polymer physics, such as polymer crystallization, structure, morphology, polymer liquid crystal, polymer solution are rarely involved. There are several aspects of the meeting is relatively new. Three classical multi-component polymer phase structure and morphology are: spherical dispersed phase distribution in the continuous phase, scattered phase distribution in the continuous phase rod, layered phase asked the structure. Professor R. Stadler from the University of Mainz in Germany found some new phase structures and morphologies by controlling the composition, block length and block order of block copolymers. Also found that the dispersed phase can form a very regular order similar to the single crystal arrangement. This structure can produce electron diffraction and X-ray diffraction.
