A series of studies [1-5] show that the microhardness can well reflect the regularity of the development of metal fatigue fracture. This paper describes the use of microhardness method to assess the fatigue damage of carbon steel and high-strength cast iron accumulation. At the same time, the change of the fatigue property of the material caused by fatigue damage and its breakage were also studied
