随着采矿科学技术的不断发展,在煤矿开采中综采技术的应用越来越广泛。在综采技术应用过程中,还有许多值得深入探讨和研究的课题。如顶煤高度的合理确定,不仅对于煤层开采的生产效率影响极大,而且还会对煤炭回收率产生较大影响,特别在特厚煤层开采的过程中,过大或过小的顶煤高度都可能会对煤炭回收率与混矸率产生严重影响,因此,只有合理确定顶煤高度才能切实有效提升煤矿井下生产效率,保障煤矿企业经济效益。
