Objective: To investigate the effect of severe weakness and weakness abnormal sperm, especially inactive and abnormal sperm on the results of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Methods: A retrospective analysis of ICSI cases, select the same patient in the cumulative treatment cycle for both reasons, the use of both sperm enrichment and the use of 58 patients, each part of the sperm part (severe weak weak deformity sperm) included in the A Group B and group A (normal sperm) were enrolled into group B. The differences of fertilization rate, cleavage rate, high quality embryo rate, clinical pregnancy rate and abortion rate in group A and group B were compared. Results: The fertilization rate, cleavage rate, high-quality embryo rate and clinical pregnancy rate in group B were higher than those in group A, and the abortion rate was lower than that in group A. The difference between high-quality embryo rate and clinical pregnancy rate in group A and group B was statistically significant Significance (P <0.05). Conclusions: The rate of high quality embryo and clinical pregnancy in ICSI treatment of severely weakened and deformed sperm, especially in inactive sperm and abnormal sperm are significantly decreased, and the risk of miscarriage and birth defects is also increased.
