西藏军区摩步某团是近年涌现出来的重大先进典型。2010年2月10日,成都军区在成都组织召开了该团基本经验理论研讨会。来自总政机关、军事科学院、国防大学、南京政治学院、西安政治学院等院校的领导和专家,军区先进典型代表等,对该团“围绕使命建、紧贴任务练、瞄着一流干,推动部队建设科学发展”的基本经验进行了深入挖掘和研讨,从理论与实践的结合上深化了对胡主席关于我军历史使命重大战略思想的理解,升华了对摩步团基本经验时代价值、科学内涵的认识理解,加深了对新形势下部队建设基本规律的理解把握。现摘编理论研讨会的部分研究成果,以飨读者。
