A large number of re-recognition of vocabulary is the basis for training language skills. As the famous English linguist D.A. Winsins said, “There is not a grammar, we can express very few things, and without words we can express nothing.” In the process of senior high school English learning, vocabulary restricts the efficiency of high school students learning. Without a lot of knowledge of vocabulary, high school students can not grasp the ability and skills of using prophecy to communicate communicatively. The ability of language expression will become a passive water without a foundation. High school students in the past to master the vocabulary method is mainly rote. As teaching difficulty increases, the amount of vocabulary increases. High school students can not remember a large number of vocabulary, but feel that rote learning is boring and the effect is not obvious. Some students lose confidence in learning. In the course of time, the grades decline and the number of students gradually increase. As a result, the difficulty of high school English teaching continues to increase. In addition, fewer students participate in the classroom, learning and other factors also inhibited the enthusiasm of high school students learning English vocabulary. In this context, the implementation of a new round of curriculum reform has brought vigor and vitality to high school English vocabulary teaching. The new curriculum standard emphasizes the people-oriented educational thought. The core of the new curriculum standard is student-centered, student-centered development, focusing on the all-round development of students and the unity of personality differences. Under the current circumstances, the reform of English vocabulary teaching is imminent. I think we should reform from a few aspects.
