1985年5月,在江苏扬州市邗江县杨寿乡李岗村的宝女墩发现两座新莽时期的木椁墓,扬州博物馆和邗江县图书馆联合作了清理。其中104号墓19块完整或可拼合的玻璃衣片的出土,是继西汉“妾莫书”墓玻璃衣片之后,第二次在扬州发现的玻璃衣片,引起了考古学界和古代玻璃研究者的关注。此次出土的玻璃衣片均为长方形,尺寸基本相同,厚0.33厘米。除1片未见穿孔外,余均四角穿孔。有的表面局部还可见到玻璃光泽。衣片除素而外,纹饰均为模铸阴纹,有变体柿蒂纹、云雷纹、云纹和白虎星辰纹4种。纹饰上原来均贴金箔,这种装饰与扬
