《文学自由谈》(2007年第2期)所刊《“北贾南熊”猜想》一文曾在一张书法报上读过,当时想,书法界对作家书法恐不会有太多的热情,甚至还可能有一丝丝的敌意。尽管有人声嘶力竭地强调“北贾南熊”的作家书法如何神妙、隽永,一旦以书法本体的审美标准来审视,“北贾南熊”的字是不堪一击的。可是,此文在《文学自由谈》上发表就不同了,由于该刊大多数读者对书法缺少基本的判断,《“北贾南熊”猜想》一文中的谬论很可能被理解成作家书法的基本问题,如此一来,作家书法会被曲解,“北贾南熊”会被误读。
