身份动机理论认为社会身份不只涉及群体成员的简单知识和内群体关系的积极感觉,还包括为意义建构和行动提供准备。基于情境社会认知视角,身份动机的潜在过程包括三个核心假设:行动与程序准备、动态建构和困难解释,相关研究主要集中在消费、健康和学业成就等领域。身份动机理论及其研究成果为理解社会决定因素与个体行动之间的关系提供了一个新的框架,也可为临床咨询干预和公共政策制定提供理论基础。未来研究可将身份动机扩展到职业、群际和人际关系等领域,重视身份动机模型的限制条件和调节效应的研究。
The theory of identity motivation holds that social identity involves not only the simple knowledge of group members and the positive feeling of inner group relations, but also the preparation of meaning construction and action. Based on the perspective of situational social cognition, the potential process of identity motivation includes three core assumptions: preparation for action and procedure, dynamic construction and difficulty interpretation. Relevant studies mainly focus on areas such as consumption, health and academic achievement. The theory of identity motivation and its research results provide a new framework for understanding the relationship between social determinants and individual actions. They also provide a theoretical basis for clinical counseling and public policy making. Future research can extend the identity motivation to occupations, interpersonal relationships and other fields, and pay attention to the research on the restriction conditions and regulatory effects of the identity motivation model.
