国内外英语教育工作者普遍认为,语言教学应充分体现以能力为培养目标,重视学生的主体地位,关注学生的情感心理因素,鼓励学生带着自己的兴趣爱好、需求和个人经验去进行体验式学习。所以将学习动机理论引入课堂教学是极其必要的,通过激发学生的学习动机,调动学生的学习积极性,进而提高学生的整体英语水平,也是教师从事教学工作的目标之一。
