中国卫生检疫始于一八七三年、至今已有一百一十年的历史;为了反映出我国卫生检疫的演变发展过程,我们收集、整理了有关资料。把对我国卫生检疫影响较大的事例(截止于一九八三年九月底)按年分列如下,以供参考。一八七三年八月上海海关税务司理船厅英藉医官税特先生(Mr.F.E.Wright)在上海港草拟一份检疫办案,并开始对来自疫区的船舶实施检疫。厦门海关医官Patrick manson和税务司也共同商议,拟订了防疫卫生简章三条,开始实施船舶检疫。
China's health quarantine started in 1873 and has a history of 110 years. To reflect the evolvement and development of China's health and quarantine, we collected and sorted out relevant information. The annual reports that have a great impact on the health and quarantine of our country (as at the end of September 1983) are as follows for reference. August 1837 Shanghai Customs Department of Inspector General's Office Leader Dr. F. E. Wright drafted a quarantine case in Shanghai and began to quarantine ships from the affected areas. Xiamen Customs officers Patrick manson and the Tax Department also jointly negotiated, prepared three health precautions, and began the implementation of ship quarantine.
