多年来,初中思想政治课教学都是应试教育的模式,使得政治课在教学中处于两难的境地,即教师难教、学生难学。表现在课堂上是学生不愿意学,要么睡觉,要么看课外书,一部分学生愿意学,但不能理解和接受,课后为应付考试而死记硬背。随着教育体制改革的深化,新课程对初中思想政治课教学提出了新的要求:“以学生发展为本,结合学科教学特点,力争全方位落实科学素养教育,为学生的终身发展奠定基础。”因此,初中政治教师在实施组织教学中,要与时俱进,不断创新,才能取得突破性的进展。
