太平洋经济合作理事会(英文简称“PECC”)是1980年9月建立的,系工商企业界、政府和学术界三方人士组成协商性的国际组织,现有20个成员,包括:中国、澳大利亚、菲律宾、加拿大、马来西亚、美国、日本、泰国、文莱、新加坡、新西兰、印度尼西亚、秘鲁、墨西哥、智利、俄罗斯,以及南朝鲜、中国台北、香港、南太平洋岛国(作为一个整体)。PECC 现有10个专题项目,在具体领域开展研究与合作。太平洋经济展望专题项目是其中之一,研究范围分两部分,一是经济预测,二是研究长期经济结构问题。该专题
The Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) was established in September 1980 and is a consultative international organization of tripartite constituents of the business community, government and academia. The PECC has 20 members, including China, Australia, Philippines, Canada, Malaysia, the United States, Japan, Thailand, Brunei, Singapore, New Zealand, Indonesia, Peru, Mexico, Chile, Russia and South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong and the South Pacific island countries as a whole.
