In the new period of creation, Chen Ran is one of the few female writers who have been continuously and sincerely paying attention to loneliness and writing in depth. Her considerable experience of life led to and formed her to see the world, to understand the basic set of life. Chen Ran abandoned the grand background, focusing on the composition of the meaning of women’s center, her experience of loneliness, ultimately manifested as existential philosophical thinking. Through a large family of female loners, Chen Ran delivers a unique understanding of the loneliness of mankind.
