1918年12月20日,我出生在天津一个洋行职员家庭,原名安正元。祖父、父亲都在外国人的洋行里做小职员。我家住在日租界边上,一出门就看到日本天皇头像。我亲眼看见日本兵打中国人。1934年,我考上了天津汇文中学。我在汇文中学参加了多次学生运动,也参加了天津“12·9”运动。寒假为《益世报》写稿1935年圣诞节之后,我给天津《益世报》社会服务版主编吴秋尘写了封信,希望利用寒假作为“新闻记者的实习”。当时我正准备报考燕京大学新闻系或中央大学新闻系。没想到吴主编把我的信和采访提纲全文刊登在12月29日《益世报》第九版上,还加了编者按。
December 20, 1918, I was born in Tianjin, a foreigner staff family, formerly known as An Zhengyuan. Grandfather and father are all clerks in foreigners’ foreign firms. My family lives in the edge of the Japanese concession, go out to see the emperor of Japan portrait. I saw Japanese soldiers fighting Chinese. In 1934, I was admitted to Tianjin Huiwen High School. I participated in the Huiyuan secondary school many student sports, also participated in the Tianjin “12.9 ” campaign. After the winter holiday was written by the “World Expo,” I wrote a letter to Wu Qiuchen, editor in chief of Social Service Edition of “Yi Shi Bao” in Tianjin after Christmas 1935, hoping to use winter vacation as an “internship for journalists.” At that time, I was preparing to apply for a journalism department at Yenching University or a journalism department at Chung-Ang University. Unexpectedly, Chief Editor Wu put the full text of my letter and interview published on the ninth edition of the “World Weekend” on December 29, adding an editor’s note.
