罗尔纯,1929年生于湖南省湘乡县。1946~1950年就读于苏州美术专科学校,师从颜文梁先生,获得过学校油画写生评奖第一名;1951年分配到北京的人民美术出版社工作,历任该社编辑、创作干部。1959~1964年任北京艺术学院美术系讲师;1964年以后先后任中央美院油画系副教授、教授。1992年获得法国的艺术家居留权,常往返于中国与欧洲之间。代表作有《望》、《鸡冠花》、《咪咪》、《傍水人家》等。作品多次入选全国美展并获奖,在中央美院、上海美术馆、广东美术馆及北京、巴黎、纽约、
Rolle pure, born in 1929 in Xiangxiang County, Hunan Province. From 1946 to 1950, he studied at Suzhou Fine Arts College and studied under Mr. Yan Wenliang with first place in the school painting sketching award. In 1951 he was assigned to the People’s Fine Arts Publishing House in Beijing and served as editor and creative cadre of the society. From 1959 to 1964, he was lecturer in Fine Arts Department of Beijing Art Institute. Since 1964 he has successively served as associate professor and professor of oil painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Access to the French artist’s right of abode in 1992 often traveled between China and Europe. Representatives have “hope”, “cockscomb”, “Mimi”, “Bangshui people” and so on. His works have been selected as the National Art Exhibition for many times and won prizes at the Central Academy of Art, Shanghai Art Museum, Guangdong Art Museum and Beijing, Paris, New York,
