Nakashima-kun’s “cow man” is based on China’s “Zuo Zhuan”, but it has created a completely different literary world from Zuo Zhuan. In the cow man, the bastard who served as a retainer, after gaining the trust of his father’s uncle Sun leopard, lost two of his princes in succession, and lastly, because of the malice of the cow, the uncle Sun leopard was activated starve. Nakajima fueled a hostile world in which Uncle Sun Leopard felt a chill. This article, from the perspective of literary ethics, classifies the ethical events appearing in works and objectively interprets Nakashima-jun’s intention of material selection through comparison with Zuo Zhuan, and then grasps the theme of “cow man”.
