【编辑留言】一部《劳动合同法》,经历两年多反复酝酿,四次全国人大常委会审议,于2007年6月29日全国人大常委会上,获得了通过。在建设社会主义和谐社会的执政理念要求下,劳动关系的和谐问题引起了社会广泛关注。仅在这部新《劳动合同法》的一审稿向社会公开征求意见时,就收到来自社会各界多达19万条的修改意见和建议。这究竟是怎样一部法律?该如何准确看待这部法律?本刊编辑部请来全国总工会研究室的专家,看看他们如何解答吧。
【Edit Message】 A “Labor Contract Law” has undergone repeated deliberations for more than two years and has been reviewed by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress four times. It was passed at the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on June 29, 2007. Under the requirement of governing the concept of building a socialist harmonious society, the issue of the harmony of labor relations has aroused widespread public concern. Only when the first draft of the new Labor Contract Law solicits opinions from the public, has received as many as 190,000 amendments and suggestions from all walks of life in the community. How exactly is this a law? How can we view this law accurately?
