7月11至13日,“中国现代性翻译史的叙事和建构”国际学术研讨会在武汉纺织大学举行,来自澳大利亚、加拿大、美国、爱尔兰、香港以及内地的近百位专家、学者与会。开幕式由武汉纺织大学外国语学院院长何畏教授主持,校长韦一良教授出席开幕式并致欢迎辞。研讨会上,澳大利亚格里菲斯大学教授、中国人民大学讲座教授马克林(Colin Mackerras)博士作了题为《西方眼中的中国辛亥革命》的基调演说。香港中文大学苏利文(Michael O’Sullivan)博士、加拿大阿尔伯塔大学教授、武汉纺织大学阳光学者郭洋生博士、译林出
From July 11 to 13, “International Symposium on the History of Modern Chinese Translation” was held in Wuhan Textile University. Nearly 100 experts and scholars from Australia, Canada, the United States, Ireland, Hong Kong and the Mainland attended the symposium . The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor He Wei, Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Wuhan Textile University. Professor Wei Yiliang, the president, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech. At the seminar, Dr Colin Mackerras, a professor at Griffith University in Australia and a lecturer at Renmin University of China, gave a keynote speech entitled “The Chinese Revolution of 1911 in the Eyes of the West.” Dr. Michael O’Sullivan from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor from the University of Alberta, Canada, and Dr. Yang Yang from Wuhan University of the Sun.
